Intangible cultural heritage in emergencies = Le patrimoine culturel immatériel dans les situations d'urgence = Patrimonio cultural inmaterial en situaciones de emergencia

The Committee has undertaken a reflection on the role of intangible cultural heritage in emergencies over the past four cycles. At its fourteenth session in 2019, the Committee endorsed the operational principles and modalities for safeguarding intangible cultural heritage in emergencies and requested that they be presented to the eighth session of the General Assembly for examination. The present document provides the operational principles and modalities in annex and describes their background, content and relevance for the next phase of work.
